Cliqy slots seamlessly into your marketing plan
a paid channel with built-in engagement
Cliqy was designed to sit alongside your existing paid marketing channels, with a performance boost to reader engagement built into its core: being relevant and giving back to the people see your brand.

Buying psychology, brought to life
The power of a trusted recommendation
93% of people would rather buy from a trusted source. The club and club manager becomes your brand's advocate, not a transactional banner ad on an app.
The medium of their normal chat adds security and trust to what's being shared.
A brand, visibly and financially doing good things
63% of consumers say brands should support their community. Here, members can see the direct benefit: their attention helps fund something they care deeply about.
Already relevant, personalised communities
When using digital services, 76% of people become frustrated when they do not receive relevancy online. By design, a club manager is already engaged with the sport you are relevant to.
Sponsorship doesn't work like it should.
Clubs have something valuable: people brought together by something they care about. We should all want to support that.
But businesses need to justify their spend, and clubs struggle to show what that support returns. It's no ones fault, but it means funding often comes down to goodwill and whatever budget can be spared, rather than meaningful value.
Due to its very nature, it's hard to access, and from finite pots.
Better engagement multiplies the numbers
Keep your website conversion rate the same and see what a change in traffic could mean for enquiries or sales.
Find new clubs to support &
Do more for those you already know
One Cliqy business account lets you work with clubs through the network and connect with those you already support.
Or if you are a parent body or association, you can enhance your existing organisation-sponsor relationships through Cliqy.
For businesses & brands
Put your marketing budget behind useful content and the communities you want to support.
UK-wide reach: Access the network, support clubs locally or nationally, and work with new and existing clubs from one account.
Your brand, in relevant conversation: Clubs choose what fits their members, then share it through the conversations they already have.
For existing relationships
Make support go further for clubs you already work with.
Existing sponsors: connect using a partnership code and run campaigns for linked clubs.
Governing bodies and associations: connect affiliated clubs and sponsors, choose which campaigns to make available, and give partner content that dedicated position at the top of club feeds.

tap into the power
of trusted Recommendation
Club messages come from the people who organise training and keep everyone involved. When they recommend something useful, it carries the trust built through that relationship, and becomes much more powerful.
Find the right fit. Make your campaign available to clubs by region, sport and interests.
Bring something worth sharing. Use practical advice, useful guides or relevant offers that give club managers a reason to recommend your content.
Let the club make the introduction. Managers choose what belongs alongside their usual messages to members.

Your brand.
Now part of the conversation.
Your brand can appear in the message groups and club emails members already use to stay connected. Useful content earns it a place alongside the conversations they’re already having.
Put your name to it. Publish useful content under your own brand, so members know who is supporting their club.
Use content you already have. Publish an article inside Cliqy or link to something on your own website.
Give interested readers somewhere to go. Include a website link and an optional discount code so they can explore further.
Give community engagement a reason to keep going
Seeing a good return gives you a clearer case for making Cliqy part of your content plan. When that spend does some good too, both sides have a reason to keep it going.
Stay in control of your spend. Set a campaign budget, monitor what remains, and pause or add more funding.
See the response. Follow valid clicks, qualifying reads, read rate and the clubs generating activity.
See what it earns for clubs. Track the funding generated alongside your campaign results, giving you both something concrete to build on.

FAQs
A few things you might be wondering.
For articles hosted on Cliqy, a qualifying read must meet checks for active viewing time and progress through the article, within a valid tracking session.
Opening a link alone does not count as a qualifying read. These checks measure engagement with the article; they do not claim that someone has read every word.
Yes. Each campaign has a maximum budget, shared across its content and participating clubs. You can monitor the amount used and remaining, pause the campaign or increase its budget.
New charges cannot exceed the available campaign budget. Pausing does not cancel charges already incurred.
Use the club’s partnership code to link your business account. You can then make funded content available through that existing relationship and run campaigns for your linked clubs.
You can also run wider network campaigns from the same business account. Supporting an existing club and finding new clubs to support can sit alongside each other.
You set one campaign rate and a maximum budget. What triggers the charge depends on where your content lives:
- Content hosted on Cliqy: the campaign rate is charged when a visit qualifies as a read, meeting checks for active viewing time and progress through the article. Opening the article alone does not incur a charge.
- Content hosted on your website: the same campaign rate is charged for a valid click through to your content. Cliqy cannot qualify a read on your website.
You can use both within one campaign. They draw from the same budget, with no additional read charge on top of the campaign rate.
No. Your content reaches those conversations because the club chooses to introduce it. Cliqy does not give businesses access to private groups, their conversations or members’ contact details.
That introduction is the point: useful content, shared by someone members know, with an additional reason to read—supporting their club.
Cliqy checks for duplicate events and unusually frequent activity, and recognised link-preview requests do not generate charges. Suspicious activity can be held for review before it becomes billable.
These controls reduce invalid activity, but they are not a guarantee against every form of misuse. Reporting should not be interpreted as a count of unique individuals across every club and device.
Cliqy is preparing for launch. Join the launch list and tell us about your business, the clubs or sports you want to support, and any existing club or governing-body relationships.

Yes. Useful articles, practical guides and relevant offers can all work. You can publish an article inside Cliqy or link to content on your own website.
Hosting an article in Cliqy allows qualifying-read measurement. For external content, Cliqy measures the tracked click to your page; your own website analytics measure what happens afterwards. Content is reviewed before becoming available to clubs.
A parent body can connect its existing sponsors and make selected funded campaigns available to its affiliated clubs.
Your team chooses which campaigns to distribute through the network and can add or remove them from that shared library. Club managers then decide what is relevant to their members.
It gives an organisation-wide partnership a practical way to support individual clubs, while keeping those clubs in control of their communications.
Content from established relationships has a dedicated place at the top of the club’s feed. This helps managers find content from their own partners and those connected through their parent body.
The relationship is made visible, while the club retains control over what it shares with members.
The club share is 80% of the amount charged for eligible activity through its links. The remaining 20% covers Cliqy and payment costs. Allocations are calculated in whole pennies.
This applies to campaign spend actually generated—not the entire budget you make available. Members do not need to purchase anything for their club to earn.
Yes. Network campaigns can be matched by geography, club type and relevant interests. You can also set club-size criteria.
That gives a local business a way to focus its activity, while a regional or national brand can make content available more widely. Matching determines which clubs can discover your campaign. Each club still chooses whether to share it.
Your account shows campaign spend, remaining budget, valid clicks, qualifying reads, read rate and active clubs. You can also compare the response to individual pieces of content.
“Read rate” means qualifying reads divided by valid clicks. “Active clubs” means clubs whose tracked links have generated valid clicks.
Recorded sharing actions and estimated audiences provide additional context. They are not confirmation that every member received or opened a message.
No. Club managers decide what belongs in their conversations, and members decide what to read. Paying for a campaign does not guarantee distribution, reads or sales.
Relevant content gives clubs a reason to share. The recommendation and club-funding benefit give members reasons to engage. Your results help you decide what to fund again.
Create your business account, add your content, choose which clubs it should be available to, and set your campaign rate and budget.
Club managers browse the available content and choose what fits their members. They share it through their club’s tracked Cliqy link, alongside their usual messages. Cliqy records the response, allocates the club’s share and shows your campaign activity.
Funding follows the club’s tracked link. When an affiliated club shares content and eligible activity is recorded through that link, the club’s share is credited to that club.
The parent-body relationship helps make the opportunity available. Each participating club earns through the activity its own links generate.
No. They can follow a link in their browser and read the content without creating a Cliqy account or buying anything.
Paid activity requires tracking consent. Someone who chooses to continue without tracking can still access the content, but that visit does not generate paid engagement.
Yes. Campaign tags on external content links and onward links from Cliqy-hosted articles help identify Cliqy traffic in your own analytics. With conversion tracking in place, you can measure subsequent enquiries, purchases and revenue, then compare those outcomes with your campaign spend.
Campaign-specific voucher codes can provide another way to identify purchases in your checkout reporting.
Cliqy reports engagement, spend and club funding. Completed purchases and calculations such as acquisition cost or return on ad spend sit in your own reporting, subject to your tracking setup, consent and attribution rules.
